On 6 April 2023, Kejafi had the absolute honour of supporting the fabulous duo of Catriona McKay & Chris Stout to a full Utzon Room at the Sydney Opera House. The event was organised and hosted by Club Hibernia, an organisation that “facilitates the collaboration of Construction Industry Professionals through Networking, Knowledge-sharing and craic“. Club Hibernia, along with their event sponsors, have exhibited exceptional industry leadership in endorsing the arts and culture. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their support.
The gig was an unforgettable experience. Kejafi kicked off the night with a 45-minute set, featuring a fusion of songs and tunes with the addition of double bassist Elsen Price to warm up the crowd. After the interval, Catriona and Chris took the stage and delivered a mesmerizing performance that left the audience spellbound.
To cap off the evening, Kejafi was invited back on stage to join Catriona and Chris in performing one of Chris’ original compositions, Hamnataing. The collaboration was the perfect ending to a remarkable night of music.
